Calling all young artists, creators, and visionaries between the ages of 7 and 17! This summer, dive into a world of creativity, culture, and community at the Youth Summer Arts Platform 2024.

Whether you’re into painting, photography, drumming, or performance, there’s something here for everyone!

Date: Thursday 18th July to Friday 23rd August, 2024

Time: 9:00 am to 3:00 pm

Venue: Patricia D James Secondary School

The Cultural Development Foundation (CDF) is back with its annual Youth Summer Arts Platform (YSAP), which will be held in both the Northern and Southern districts. This program offers an

opportunity for youth to nurture their artistic talents, gain a historical perspective, and develop a deeper appreciation of our Saint Lucian cultural heritage while engaging in art forms that enhance

learning, develop creativity, and promote culture.

This year’s program will focus on the traditions of Saint Lucia and will offer the following areas in the Northern district:

• Traditional Drumming & Percussion

• Traditional Dance (Bèlè)

• Visual Art

• Drama

• Photography and Film

• Steel Pan Music (Practical)

• Stagecraft (Exclusive to Theatre Arts students)

Registration fee: $200.00
